The sportswear brand Adidas has introduced an all-male crew for its “All-Men’s Crew” collection, which is expected to launch in the spring.
The new crew features Adidas men’s shorts, shoes, shirts, and hoodies, all made from a range of lightweight materials.
The collection, a partnership with US sports apparel brand Under Armour, will launch in July, but Adidas has yet to reveal a release date for the collection.
“We believe that men’s clothing is one of the most important pieces of the men’s sportswearing portfolio,” said Adidas CEO John Skipper.
“With this line of all-men’s apparel, we have created a collection that celebrates the most iconic men’s sports and culture and is also built to support the sportswomen of tomorrow.”
The new Adidas All-Men Crew collection will feature a wide range of men’s gear including shorts, gloves, socks, shoes and other gear, as well as accessories such as hats, scarves, and even a hat emblazoned with the logo of the U.S. national basketball team.
“Our men’s footwear collection is dedicated to the most popular and iconic men in sport, such as LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan,” said Skipper, adding that the collection is the first in the company’s history to feature a men’s athletic footwear collection.
The men’s line has also added to the roster of brands with a women’s collection.
Adidas has been the official clothing brand of women’s basketball for nearly five decades, and the brand has also launched a women-only line for men.
However, the company has been known to launch all-women’s athletic shoes at some point in its history.
The women’s line is now available in the United States and Canada and has been available in all-black, white, grey, and charcoal colorways, with a selection of colorways available in different fabrics.
The men’s collection is currently available in more than 60 countries.
