A new website will allow you to watch free competition sports and professional-level sports for free, according to its creator.
In a statement, Sports Direct CEO John Lewis said the site, which launched Thursday, will be able to stream and download all major sporting events on demand, including boxing, cricket, rugby, soccer, and golf.
Lewis said Sports Direct is working with “sports industry leaders to create the best free sports streaming platform available in the world.”
The site, called Sports Direct, will allow consumers to stream or download all of the major sporting competition sports, Lewis said in the statement.
The site is also offering free access to some of the top-rated competitions from the World Series of Poker and Formula 1.
Sports Direct has also partnered with the NBA, NFL, MLB, and the NHL to offer live streams and game coverage.
It is also developing a live-streaming feature for the NBA All-Star Game, which starts Feb. 26 in New Orleans.
The website will also stream the 2018 World Series, which is scheduled for March 11.
Lewis added the site will be available for people who can’t get access to a TV or cable package, such as students or those living outside the United States.
He said Sports DIRECT is “coming at it from a different angle,” as it is “building a business that allows us to compete on a world scale with a lot of the other big sports platforms.”
