The National Football League is gearing up to unveil a new competition series, dubbed Madden NFL: Ultimate Team.
ESPN will bring back its popular esports series, Madden NFL, which was first broadcast in 2018.
In the new series, players can earn Madden points and compete in online tournaments, which will be broadcast over the next two seasons.
ESPN, which has been a key partner for the NFL over the years, will use its new streaming service, WatchESPN, to broadcast the series.
The Madden NFL series will be available to stream through WatchESPN and be available for Apple TV, Android, Xbox, Roku, PlayStation and Windows devices.
ESPN also announced it will be bringing back its classic NBA, NHL, NFL and NFLPA franchises, as well as the NFL’s current and former Super Bowl teams, the New England Patriots and New York Giants.
The network also will debut its own online team game, Madden Ultimate Team, which is currently in beta.
